Algonquin Highlights
I have wanted to see Algonquin Park since I was a child, and though I have lived in Canada for almost four years now, I did not get my first chance to go until this last week. It did not disappoint.
I could wax on poetic about our (too) short two day visit for hours and it would still not convey the feeling of being there. If you've been there, you know. If you haven't, you should!
Because it was requested of me, here are some photo/video highlights. You can see larger versions and the rest of the photos on Flikr here.

We had made a simple list hoping to catch bull moose, red fox, and gray jay in our limited time, and got all three of them the first evening. Unfortunately it was too dark for photos of the fox.

Gray Jay
We will definitely be returning next year for a multi-day Portage, and I can't wait.
